There is a reason why I love this man, and yes I say man because Leonardo DiCaprio has truly transformed into a eloquent and elegant man. Although I did not watch some of his younger works like, Parenthood or Growing Pains, I was captivated by his essence and performance in the movie Whats eating Gilbert Grape. Not only was my all-time favourite actor and another one of my favourite actors (Johnny Depp) in this movie but they both had to play difficult roles. The chemistry between the two of them was really something to watch. As Leo grew up he obviously got his most famous role of all as Jack in Titanic, but before that people hadn’t realized the previous roles before that like, Critters 3, The Basketball Diaries, Total Eclipse and Romeo and Juliet (well maybe this movie but still). For a young man, ALL those roles are very diverse and complex. I recently watched Total Eclipse again and I had forgotten how young he was when he took on a role like this. Personally, if I was that age (21) I don’t think I would of done something like this due to being uncomfortable but that’s what being an actor/actress is all about, stepping out of your comfort zone. I could tell right away that he was going to go very far, and he has. When I watch him in films I love how into the character he gets and doesn’t stop sometimes even after filming (lol). One thing that I think is amazing is that scene he shot in Django Unchained. I know mostly everyone has heard about it but I don’t care I’m bringing it up again. Yes he did injure his hand during the (I’m going to call it) dining room scene, but he kept going IN CHARACTER. Now I don’t know about you but even the smallest of cuts I would of stopped and went off set but that’s something most actors/actresses don’t do. I know this is pretty long but, I think Leo deserves credit when credit is due. I mean not even one Oscar for any of these amazing performances? (yeah yeah I know everyone says that but seriously!) Now to end this speech on Leonardo DiCaprio I want to say this: for me this man is my FAVOURITE ACTOR I know people will think otherwise but that’s why this is MY OVERVIEW and OPINION. I have other favourite actors/actresses that I admire and produce outstanding films but Leonardo DiCaprio has really cultivated this generation of people and I thank him for that. He has truly grown into a fine poised man and I cannot wait for his future films! :)
I found this very funny..so the other day I walk into HMV and I grabbed justin bieber’s believe album, some more merch of one direction and picked up one of the wanted’s old albums (because apparently they did have the right version at the time..idk?) I walk up to the cashier, shes pretty young and I put down all my stuff…and she gives me this look and all I can say is that this “look” was saying ” YOU BRAVE BRAVE SOUL, BEING APART OF ALL 3 FANDOMS” and after that i gave such a badass look got my stuff and walked out.

I will start off by saying this, the great gatsby was truly an amazing movie. The acting, scenery the modernized music all were exceptional. I felt every emotion each character displayed, especially Jay Gatsby. From the moment he was portrayed on screen I could somehow sense this underlining emptiness and yearning he so hoped to change. But one thing that caught my attention was at the very end of the film when the green light out on the water faded away, the theater was absolutely silent, no claps, no rustling of popcorn bags, not even a cough or sneeze, just dead silence…and that was truly amazing. This film left a crowd of people speechless, literally, and I just want to say thank you for making this film Baz and to all the actors Leonardo Dicaprio, Carey Mulligan, Toby Maguire, Joel Edgerton etc.
